Professional statement
I had been the Section Chief of Addiction Medicine at Tower Health System from its inception in 2014 until October 2024. I trained medical students, interns, residents and fellows through the Tower Health System’s affiliate Drexel University College of Medicine, and The Caron Foundation Addiction Fellowship program. I continue to train fellows from The Caron Foundation Addiction Fellowship program in collaboration with the St. Luke’s Fellowship program where I serve as Associate Medical Director of Addiction Medicine.
Even with the multiple administrative and governmental roles, I still actively see patients in the office and hospital settings. I have also been an invited speaker at numerous conferences targeted to both professionals in the field as well as the public on many aspects of addiction.
